I’m a multidisciplinary artist who works with ideas around publishing and the paratextual in order to interrupt the rhetorically designed frames through which we understand art. I’m also a writer, graphic designer and former commercial magazine art director. I work as a Lecturer in RMIT’s
School of Design and previously spent a decade teaching at Monash University plus some time at the University of Sydney and the VCA. I have completed both a Fine Art Master’s at Monash University (2011) and, with the support of an Australian Postgraduate Award, a PhD at RMIT University’s School of Design (2025). It was called
Institutional Parasites. I sometimes organise
True Belief, a small publisher of art materials, and over the years we’ve published the work of over 70 artists, writers and other practitioners. My exhibition projects have found outcomes in galleries such as
TCB,
Blindside,
West Space,
Bus Projects,
Boxcopy,
Linden,
Platform,
Gertrude,
MUMA and the
Centre Pompidou. I frequently include the work of other practitioners in my so-called ‘solo’ exhibitions and approach most projects from a collaborative perspective. Instagram:
